A unique, nature-inspired masterpiece, the Sahara Familia is largest Catholic Church in the world and has been under construction since 1882. Antoni Gaudí designed structures based on biological forms, blending Gothic forms with natural shapes to create a "stone forest", tree-like branching columns, and a total lack of straight lines, opting instead for hyperboloids, paraboloids, and catenary arches.
